A bit of a let down
Solid once up and good value Shame they didn't have pre drilled holes inside for metal shelf supports , you would not see the screws on the shelf panels good side , and no screw caps provided to hide the screw heads

Decent for the price
Bought this to go in my daughter's room. It's fit for purpose. You can tell the coating on the desk can come off easily but I just needed something cheap and cheerful for now and for that it's perfect!

Only Just Worth the Value at Sale Price
Purchased as it was the only option that seemed the best for our needs. Knew it wouldn’t be the best quality and waited until on sale. The shape and style are great, having the side shelves is useful and it looks sensible in a teenagers bedroom. Also first product I’ve had from Argos with, albeit cheap, drawer strengthening accessories. However as always this is plastic coated chipboard and marks easily. You may say that’s the same as other retailers but on this one the chipboard is cheap and not densely packed, leading for it to be weaker and more problematic when building. The coating is thinner and already slightly marked, though not badly enough for the hassle of returning in case of a worse as the weight is too much for the box to the point it bends. Ultimately I knew what I was likely to be buying and if i could have persuaded my daughter (who is happy with it) for another one I would have.
