Great machine, works well and has a large capacity - a full load gets four proper mugs (not cups); just the job for working day. Only negatives are that the power lead is quite short and the coffee scoop slot is a bit pointless.

I absolutely love this coffee maker. I like the fact you can put a timer on it so that you wake up to freshly brewed coffee. I also like the fact you can press a button for a stronger coffee. Would highly recommend this to coffee lover that are just love coffee not cappuccino or lattes

Filter coffee machine
Bought to replace a Russell Hobbs coffee machine that stoped working after about 6 years.This machine is smaller makes 4 mugs off coffee. The coffee is nice and hot and stays hot for 40 minutes.I use a filter paper inside the permanent filter.Nice touch having a spoon at the side.Also bought the Russell Hobbs variable temp kettle.

"The unit comes with the permanent filter but not with paper filters. The permanent filter will be fitted in the basket and filled with coffee but some customers don't use plastic and they use the machine with disposal filters, and have to buy them themselves."

You can remove the carafe at any time. To prevent the filter holder overflowing, replace the carafe on the hotplate within about 20 seconds.
