Made in Denmark, this Super Sleek, Extra Strong True Pressure Fit Safety Gate fits openings 73.5-79.6cm and sits at 73cm high. Simple to install, can be mounted straight from the box without the need to drill or screw or use wall cups meaning no marks or holes left behind! It can be extended up to 119.3cm with additional extensions (sold Separately). Ideal for small to medium breeds, the gap between bars is 5.5cm. Made in Denmark from Italian steel, powder coated non-toxic finish. Can be opened one handed and opens both ways.

I bought the gate three weeks ago, and the gate itself is fantastic. But the listing said extension fitted it, and it didn’t. No matter where i look the correct extension for this gate doesn’t seem to be available. I bought what was meant to fit from Argos and it didn’t. Bought online and it didn’t. So not have the gare wedged in with wooden blocks. So really notmhappy

I needed a gate to stop my beagle escaping but still be able to see what's going on. This is perfect. Easy to use. You just tighten the nuts and it's sorted. Not too much pressure is needed so ideal for using on a uPVC door. Great.

Some difficulty fixing in position
Firstly why did it say in the pack 'don't use as a baby gate' when it seems identical to the Baby Gate (cheaper) from the same group. We had trouble getting it fixed up properly, and if it is not absolutely correct it is not easy to shut. Although it does the job, the pressure pads on the wall have slipped over time so it needs refitting. However this is partly the fault of our stairs and whereto surface where th pressure pads had two be fixed..

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Scandinavian Pressure Fit Pet Gate: The opening width of the door section on this Scandinavian pressure-fit pet gate is approximately 54 cm.
We cannot guarantee that a wheelchair can pass through, as the hinges at both the top and bottom also need to be taken into consideration.
Additionally, this safety gate has a bottom frame, which can make it difficult for a wheelchair to pass over.
Depending on where the gate is to be installed, we would instead recommend a screw-mounted safety gate, as it does not have a bottom frame and offers a wider opening.

The Scandinavian Pressure Fit Pet Gate can be attached to 2 brick walls as long as the gap is a maximum width with extensions 119.3cm.
Note: The pet gate is only for use indoors.
