I was very impressed with this mini stove, yes the fan does emit a low background noise but not an issue for me. (You can't expect no noise from a fan) I can still hear the radio even a a low setting. Realistic flame effect Quality product Easily heats my 12'x6' mini conservatory to a comfortable level (9° outside)

Got before Christmas simply for the false flame effect.. Don’t need it for heating, just a little focal point Works well, quite happy.. Could believe it will be expensive as an only source of heat

We love this small fire to.start with. . The flame looked so real and adequate heating on 2 settings. Unfortunately after 2 days , It started whistling followed by a grating , groaning type annoying noise. We were so disappointed as Dimplex is a good name. We also read a review which mentioned the same problem. We returned it and was refunded.

Used in an environment where background noise is
very low, it may be possible to hear a sound which is related to the
operation of the flame effect. This is normal and should not be a
cause for concern. When the heating function is used you will hear the blower motor but with normal background noise like tv/ radio it will not be very noticeable, this will be the same for all external fires with a blower/ heat function.

Thank you for your enquiry. The fire is fitted with a LED strip, so therefore you can't replace the bulbs.

The Dimplex 1.2kW Electric Freestanding Micro-Stove - Black is fitted with LED (Light Emitting Diode) bulbs in place of traditional incandescent bulbs. These generate the same light levels as traditional bulbs, but use a fraction of the energy consumed. These bulbs cannot be replaced (due to how they are fitted) but will have a much longer life expectancy.
