With its cast-effect black finish and Optiflame technology featuring a log-effect fuel bed, it creates that warm, welcoming glow you'd expect from a traditional stove. Designed to heat small to medium-sized rooms or work as background warmth in larger spaces, it fits perfectly wherever you need a bit of extra comfort without taking up valuable floor space.
You get 2 heat settings to choose from (0.6kW or 1.2kW), and the flame effect works independently of the heater, so you can enjoy the cosy ambiance year-round without the warmth when you don't need it. I was very impressed with this mini stove, yes the fan does emit a low background noise but not an issue for me. (You can't expect no noise from a fan) I can still hear the radio even a a low setting. Realistic flame effect Quality product Easily heats my 12'x6' mini conservatory to a comfortable level (9° outside)

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Dimplex 1.2kW Electric Freestanding Micro-Stove - Black: The heat output is a compact electric freestanding heater that’s designed for small to medium-sized rooms. It’s ideal as supplemental heat or for spaces where you just want a cosy boost rather than full central heating replacement.
A general guideline for electric heaters is about 10 W per square foot (≈100 W per m²) in a well-insulated room. Using that rule, 1.2 kW can roughly heat around 12 m² (≈130 ft²) comfortably.

Used in an environment where background noise is
very low, it may be possible to hear a sound which is related to the
operation of the flame effect. This is normal and should not be a
cause for concern. When the heating function is used you will hear the blower motor but with normal background noise like tv/ radio it will not be very noticeable, this will be the same for all external fires with a blower/ heat function.

Thank you for your enquiry. The fire is fitted with a LED strip, so therefore you can't replace the bulbs.

The Dimplex 1.2kW Electric Freestanding Micro-Stove - Black is fitted with LED (Light Emitting Diode) bulbs in place of traditional incandescent bulbs. These generate the same light levels as traditional bulbs, but use a fraction of the energy consumed. These bulbs cannot be replaced (due to how they are fitted) but will have a much longer life expectancy.
