Absolutely brilliant!
Replaced my Edge 1000 and what a difference. Simply does all the stuff I want intuitively without a IT degree.

Excellent
Does the job , occasionally the rerouting of you go of curse seems to get confused , and multiband would improve product as under trees on backroads it goes lose gps. But overall performance is great. Off road I have had to dig out os map app on phone , bit only when in middle of fields with no obvious track ahead

Perfect addition to bike
Fed up with checking route on phone. No more stopping on route- direction continuously updated on garmin. Can convey now on the scenery rather than worry I about turning left or right.

Good GPS for Navigation
If, like me, you want the Garmin mainly for navigation, this is a really good value option. Nice cleat touch screen that is a reasonable size.

Works a treat
Used this for 5 months now. About 100km a week. Has worked well. Good size screen. Battery lasts well, never come close to draining. Like the USB C charging port. Never used it in heavy rain but it has been fine in light rain.

great Garmin
I needed to replace my old Garmin 1000 and didn’t need all the training elements but did want clear routing and basic measurements I.e speed , cadence etc. this fits the bill and more!

Impressive and easy to use cycle computer
I upgraded from my Garmin Edge Touring so that I could better plan routes when on tour. I wanted to be able to plan a route on Komoot then Bluetooth it to Garmin. Early days but it seems to do this very well and quickly (indeed instantly). Overall the Gamin Explore 2 is much improved in many ways over the much older Touring (albeit the latter served me well). So far just a few rides but about to go on an extended tour and I'm feeling confident it will go well.

Plenty of Bells & Whistles...
This was purchased as a replacement for an older bike computer. The functionality is much improved with the ability to link almost any sensor you might have. The only slight downside is the usual lack of a coherent set of instructions, whilst you will learn how it works, the online Garmin manual lacks intuitiveness. The bike mounts provided work well and hold the computer securely where you want it, battery life is excellent. I haven't used the mapping to follow a preplanned route yet, but from experience of previous models this is expected to be good. Overall, recommended.

Hi Phil,
Our supplier has advised the following regarding the Garmin Edge Explore 2 GPS Bike Computer.
"We would not be able to advise on whether the Edge Explore 2 would be able to work with the 4i power meter. This is because the 4i is a third party power meter so whilst this may work and be compatible, however we could never guarantee that this would work"
