The Atlas guest bed is ideal for occasional guests or a friend staying over the night. This single silver coloured tubular metal-framed bed contains a pull out guest bed that fits neatly underneath and is easy to move thanks to the castors it is mounted on.
The bed is for 13 years and above and is not suitable for children.

Trundle mental bed
I purchased these types of beds a few years ago so thought I would order a second one for my younger boy. The first ones I had ordered are great quality and the mattress where amazing , Im not to sure if they have changed the manufacturer of the new bed but the quality of the frame and the mattress are not great the mattresses are very thin.

Thanks for your query about the Atlas Metal Guest Bed With 2 Mattresses - Silver.
No it is not designed for the mattresses to be turned sideways across the two beds to make a bigger one.
The slats are not flush with the top edges of the bed and, also, there is the risk that they could work themselves apart as there's no design feature or structural element on the bed, e.g. brackets or hooks, that would keep them together. Trying to use it this way would be at the user's own risk and could invalidate the item's warranty as it's not designed to be used this way.

The Atlas Metal Guest Bed With 2 Mattresses - Black is not available without mattresses at present.
There is a Home Atlas Single Metal Bed Frame - Black under item number 2722465, however this is just a single bed.

“ This bed is not designed for children's beds, and the gaps do not meet the testing standards of BS8509 for children's beds.
It just passed the adult bed test EN 1725 ”
