Hi I am a retired chef who makes lots of cakes and pastries, I cannot express how good this machine has been to me. It has a excellent mixing capacity for a table top food mixer, with versatile equipment for bread making(dough hook) to (beater) for cakes and pastry to a ( whisk) for creams buttercreams etc. The capacity of this machine is excellent you can make at least a 20 oz cake mix in this which contains 10 eggs 20 oz butter 20 oz st flour and 20oz castor sugar the result is creamy and perfectly mixed. I will not change this machine for a different one as it fulfills all my needs.

Faulty Cover!
I bought this from Argos for £80.00, as it seemed to meet my requirements, as I didn’t want to spend a fortune. After unboxing the mixer, I found the clear plastic bowl cover was warped and would not fit properly. I contacted Tower Customer services, who told me that item was out of stock and try again in another 30 days. I found this unacceptable, packed up the mixer and returned it to Argos for a full refund. I found getting a refund online from Argos was easy and straightforward. I then purchased the Cookworks mixer for £76. This seems to work fine, and all the parts work fine

Absolutely fantastic. For the price I can't fault it at all. Highly recommended. Quite, easy to clean, sturdy and looks really good. We have make cake, bread, rocky road and Welsh cakes all came out perfect with minimal effort.

This does have 6 speeds and pulsing, it won't fold like you can when mixing by hand but will go slow enough to act like folding.
