Perfect small clock to take camping
Bought this for my son to take on a scouts camp as he likes to know the time if he wakes during the night. He loves it. Really happy with this little clock. We won’t be using the alarm function so can’t comment on that. When you put the batteries in the radio signal will flash, you leave it alone for 10 minutes and it should find a radio signal during that time and set itself. If it doesn’t on the bottom is a QR code you can scan for instructions on how to set it yourself, it’s very easy. My son is 9 and he can manage it fine. It can light up for you to check the time during the night, I don’t think it’s super bright but it’s fine for what we need it for. It’s very small which is exactly what we wanted.

Great little RC Clock.
I bought this alarm clock in January, at the same time as buying the larger 308/87549 alarm clock. The previous November I had bought a 308/87549 clock, but it had eaten batteries. New batteries had lasted 26, 11, and 19 days. In case this was a design fault, in January I bought both clocks, but the replacement has been fine. This clock has also been fine for the nearly six months I have owned it. It picks up the radio signal reliably and displays the time, date, and temperature well. This summer, it has been very helpful to know how unbearably hot it is!!! Nice to have this smaller clock when travelling.

This item was returned to the store. There were no instructions with it and it did not seem to link to automatically show correct time. It's very small and totally unsuitable for the person it was bought for.

Very disappointing clock. Not like the description
The clock is supposed to update the time automatically but I couldn’t get it to work. It came without any instructions or information on how to get them online. Very disappointing so I took it back and got a refund

Press and hold the alarm button until the hour digits flash. Press + or - button to set the alarm hour, ensuring am/pm is set correctly. Press the alarm button once again, the minute digits will flash. Press + or - button to set the minutes. Press the alarm button once again to complete.''

Answering this myself! Rang Acctim and spoke to a very helpful lady who sent me a pdf sheet. Brilliant service. If anyone else has the same problem then put the model number on to the Acctim support page but without the X as thats an Argos reference.
