Digital alarm clock
A great little alarm clock. Was able to figure out how to use it because there is no instructions included, to confirm that I had set the alarm correctly I downloaded the instructions easily from the QR code on the box. The time and date are radio controlled so no manual setting required. The backlight was nice and bright. The led display can appear slightly dim when viewed from certain angles, but by tilting the clock or viewing from a slightly different angle solved this. Altogether I am very pleased with this purchase.

Date and time as well
Good clear screen - not too large - not only gives the time but also the day and date. Bonus changes the time itself when the clocks alter

Great little alarm clock
I had a radio controlled alarm clock for many years before it stopped receiving a signal. This alarm clock is smaller, the snooze button is quite big to find in the dark. The alarm off button is smaller and harder to find in the dark, so I take the alarm into the kitchen to switch it off. If was cheaper than my first clock but it is as good. There are no instructions but it is easy to work out how to set it up.

easy setup just put the batteries in and 3 mins later alls working . No need to ajust time when british summer time end its all automatic.

Brilliant wee alarm clock! Reliable.
Having tried several LCD clocks for my bedroom this is the best so far. It's smallish (7.2 cm wide (2.8" inches) 6.0cm high (2.4"inches). It's the most reliable one I've came across only the precision radio control clock ( Argos 843/6016) is as good at picking up the time signal. But that one doesn't have a backlight. Another clock smaller that again doesn't have a backlight but has a weather forecast function by built-in barometer is the constant clock Argos 118/2886. One clock that does light up is acctim varsity clock Argos 308/7549. It's dearer but I found it wobbled around on its base and the digits were too slim and the acctim cole easy to read the time day or night. Money well spent.

A neat digital clock.
The clock is clear to read and keeps time well. However, the lack of an instruction booklet was frustrating. This made setting up the clock quite difficult.

Press and hold the alarm button until the hour digits flash. Press + or - button to set the alarm hour, ensuring am/pm is set correctly. Press the alarm button once again, the minute digits will flash. Press + or - button to set the minutes. Press the alarm button once again to complete.''

Answering this myself! Rang Acctim and spoke to a very helpful lady who sent me a pdf sheet. Brilliant service. If anyone else has the same problem then put the model number on to the Acctim support page but without the X as thats an Argos reference.

The Acctim Cole Radio Controlled LCD Display Alarm Clock has a beeping alarm sound that starts at a moderate volume it does not gradually increase in volume.
As for the setup, it’s designed to be user-friendly.
Given that you change the alarm time frequently, the straightforward button controls should make this process relatively quick and easy.
