Nice miniature clock
This is an excellent tiny clock. I had to hunt deep into their web site to find the instructions to show 24 hour clock, and I didn't bother with the alarms as it looks too complicated. Out of the box you just put in batteries and it seeks it the radio signal to show the correct time. It may need to be placed in a window maybe once a month to pick up the signal and stay accurate.

nice and neat. My main concern is that the light on ly comes on for 2 seconds when checking the time at night. Very frustrating.

No good as an alarm, good as a clock.
Good as a timepiece as it is radio controlled and therefore very accurate. NO GOOD as an alarm clock because it is not loud enough to wake you up. Argos were happy to take the item back and give a full refund.

Bought this radio controlled clock to replace another clock that had just failed, This unit is neat and small and works very well. Once powered up you never have to readjust the time. Excellent value too.

Smaller than it appears in the photographs.
Bought this clock as I wanted one with a digital display ( easier to see in the dark ) its ok, does the job but is a lot smaller than I anticipated and I almost returned it but in the end couldn't be bothered to do so. The other thing I dont like is I have to push the snooze light to read the time in the dark , no big thing but avoidable surely.

Press and hold the alarm button until the hour digits flash. Press + or - button to set the alarm hour, ensuring am/pm is set correctly. Press the alarm button once again, the minute digits will flash. Press + or - button to set the minutes. Press the alarm button once again to complete.''

Answering this myself! Rang Acctim and spoke to a very helpful lady who sent me a pdf sheet. Brilliant service. If anyone else has the same problem then put the model number on to the Acctim support page but without the X as thats an Argos reference.

The Acctim Cole Radio Controlled LCD Display Alarm Clock has a beeping alarm sound that starts at a moderate volume it does not gradually increase in volume.
As for the setup, it’s designed to be user-friendly.
Given that you change the alarm time frequently, the straightforward button controls should make this process relatively quick and easy.
