Good sturdy bed
Great trundle bed. Colour is a greenish grey rather than the light grey pictured but it's ok. It was easy to assemble, however there were a few issues with the depth of screws, a deeper counter sink was needed in the slats, my husband is a carpenter so this wasn't an issue but could be a problem for some people. The slats are flat rather than bowed which I thought would be an issue but it is very comfortable and sturdy. The trundle glides easily and we are very pleased with the purchase.

OK bed, overengineered
The bed itself is decent, but assembling it was unnecessarily complicated—far too many steps for what should be a straightforward setup. Several screws and components felt subpar in quality, and some of the larger screws had excess metal around the heads, making them unusable. A proper quality check before dispatch would go a long way. Delivery was smooth overall, though the order form asked us to specify the floor for placement—we selected the second floor. Despite this, the delivery team initially said they weren’t permitted to carry items beyond one flight of stairs. Thankfully, they did end up taking it up, but the mixed messaging was frustrating. We bought the bed on sale at a fair price, which just about matches the quality. However, the regular retail price feels steep for what you get. One final note: the colour description is confusing. It’s listed as either anthracite or charcoal, but in person it leans a bit towards a dark blue or indigo tone.
