Jml magic stitch.
I bought this magic stitcher recently and do far I am very pleased with it, after a trial run I was quite confident using it. Very handy for shortening trousers etc easily fits in a handbag to take with you.

No use for hemming
I bought it for hemming trousers quickly and not even fussed about appearances. It was very hard to use - kept forming knots underneath or getting caught. Ended up hand sewing as it was so much quicker relatively speaking. Cheap but no use - not sure what to do with it.
