Ok.........But don't fully trust it
Nice display, I would still not fully trust the special vehicle routing offered by unit

One of the worst electrical items I have bought
I do not need a map of South Africa or for that matter Europe but I do need to find Post Codes in the United Kingdom which this pathetic device seems unable to find. This is the most expensive Sat Nav I have bought and by far the most useless. The inadequate data base does seem to find most railway stations but what to do if there is no station near where I want to go? Luckily I am an OAP and of a generation who knows how to read maps.

Bought this a couple of weeks ago, so easy to set up and fantastic features, best sat Nav ever owned

Wider screen
I bought for my husband and he is very happy because it’s big and wider screen and it’s more easy to find the destination

Very poor, nearly impossible to update the map
We bought the Garmin Camper 795 about twelve months ago as the built in sat nav for the car didn't have any facility to say we were towing, never mind a 24' caravan. It has sent us down some slightly dodgy routes but nothing like recently! Going to Dent near Sedbergh it routed us off a main road onto a very narrow single track road with sharp bends and stone gate posts called Brackensgill Lane. It was even a longer route than keeping to the main road! I have tried to report the problem but Garmin support have little interest as their maps are "gathered through a number of different agencies" and gave me a link to report the problem, even though I had been highly specific. Their link is really not very helpful, after spending considerable time filling in the form it won't accept it and doesn't say why. Overall very very poor and I won't bother with a Garmin next time I will buy a Tom Tom as they are so much better and easier to update.

Garmin Camper 795 fantastic bit of kit!
We bought this Sat Nav in Late August after reviewing several different makes. So pleased with our purchase. Never let us down on our three month trip. So easy to use. Pop in the dimensions of your vehicle and it avoids the roads that you shouldn't be going on. You can choose the type of roads to avoid too. We used coordinates to reach out destinations, it took us right to the door. Brilliant.

Brilliant Sat nav
We bought this Sat nav because it can be programed with the dimensions of our motorhome in order to stop us going down narrow streets when we are in Europe touring. Works perfectly

good features and resonably easy to use
only bought this last week went through the start up procedure and did as it prompted to do, even the up dates for maps and soft ware but its a night mare it will not down load new maps to the devise using wifi up to 5 days it was twirling and when you go to cancel it it says you will loose all maps the only way to do updates is through a computer using the Garmin express a real head ache

Garmin Camper Sat Nav
Awful as a dedicated Caravan/Camper Sat Nav. It appears good that you can pre program car and caravan dimensions ti assist Garmin Navigate a suitable route. However, the Garmin frequently suggests unsuitable roads/lanes that are clearly marked as unsuitable via signage (and they are unsuitable, we went down some with just a car and far too tight). Local ti us Garmin even recommended unmade roads that were gated and not used for years via a private industrial estate! Totally awful. My 15yr Old Ford Sat Nav is more cautious and clearer in direction. Only saving grace is that it is compatible with the wireless Garmin reversing camera. A great camera for the back of the caravan. Shame Garmin can’t use the car audio for giving directions via Bluetooth, Overall, very disappointing.

Hello Carl,
The Garmin Camper 795 MT-S offers a range of customizable route avoidance settings, including:
Toll roads and toll bridges
Congestion zones
Ferries
Motorways
You can configure these by going to:
Menu > Navigation > Avoidances, then selecting the specific elements you want to avoid (e.g., Tolls and Fees, Ferries, Motorways, etc.).
Important Notes:
The device may still include a toll or restricted area in your route if no reasonable alternative exists.
While it can avoid congestion zones, it does not explicitly list ULEZ (Ultra Low Emission Zones) or CAZ (Clean Air Zones) as separate avoidable categories. However, these may be covered under general congestion or toll areas, depending on how Garmin maps are updated and interpreted.
