The Garmin Camper 795 MT-S is built for motorhome and campervan journeys, with a 7inch touchscreen and pre-loaded maps covering 44 European countries. Custom routes are calculated based on your vehicle's size and weight, so you're not suddenly squeezing down narrow lanes or worrying about low bridges. BirdsEye Satellite Imagery provides aerial views of your destination, which is particularly useful when arriving at an unfamiliar campsite. Road warnings flag steep grades and sharp curves ahead, giving you time to adjust your speed or prepare for what's coming.
Lifetime map updates and traffic alerts via the Garmin Drive app keep you informed about delays and detours. Voice command enables hands-free navigation, and Bluetooth calling lets you answer without pulling over. Lane guidance positions you before junctions, while points of interest show petrol stations, restaurants and stops. Eco route offers fuel-efficient navigation with 2D and 3D maps. Speed camera alerts are included. The box contains a car charger, suction mount, and USB cable. Battery lasts about 1 hour unplugged. Fantastic features and very easy to set up and use

Designed for caravans
Purchased this a week ago, as my original satnav was sending me down roads unsuitable for large vehicles and a caravan / large trailer. This unit was developed for towing caravans. You do need to enter the towing vehicle dimensions and also caravan dimensions for the best results . Nice display size of 7in. Connection to phone for road traffic updates, even voice activated, so you can say your destination instead of typing.

One of the worst electrical items I have bought
I do not need a map of South Africa or for that matter Europe but I do need to find Post Codes in the United Kingdom which this pathetic device seems unable to find. This is the most expensive Sat Nav I have bought and by far the most useless. The inadequate data base does seem to find most railway stations but what to do if there is no station near where I want to go? Luckily I am an OAP and of a generation who knows how to read maps.

Very poor, nearly impossible to update the map
We bought the Garmin Camper 795 about twelve months ago as the built in sat nav for the car didn't have any facility to say we were towing, never mind a 24' caravan. It has sent us down some slightly dodgy routes but nothing like recently! Going to Dent near Sedbergh it routed us off a main road onto a very narrow single track road with sharp bends and stone gate posts called Brackensgill Lane. It was even a longer route than keeping to the main road! I have tried to report the problem but Garmin support have little interest as their maps are "gathered through a number of different agencies" and gave me a link to report the problem, even though I had been highly specific. Their link is really not very helpful, after spending considerable time filling in the form it won't accept it and doesn't say why. Overall very very poor and I won't bother with a Garmin next time I will buy a Tom Tom as they are so much better and easier to update.

Motorways
You can configure these by going to:
Menu > Navigation > Avoidances, then selecting the specific elements you want to avoid (e.g., Tolls and Fees, Ferries, Motorways, etc.).

The device may still include a toll or restricted area in your route if no reasonable alternative exists.
