Customers Say
Compact, sturdy cafetiere ideal for one mug of coffee. Good value, easy to use and clean. Misleading '3 cup' label—actually makes one mug. Some reports of breakage, but generally well-liked for daily use.

Nice coffee maker
Nice small cafetiere. Fits in my kitchen nicely. Good value for money and easy to use. Not sure about 3 cups, since it only makes 1 mug full. Very sturdy unit, easy to clean. Makes a really good mug of coffee depending on which beans you use and how long you leave it to filter.

Good coffee maker
It’s nicely made and works for my purpose. I would say calling it a 3 cup is generous. Perhaps three very small ones! But it holds around one half mug.

Best one yet
Bought quite a few, but this is the best and cheapest one by far.

Sturdy
Bought as replacement for my broken one. It used yet but looks sturdy and you even get a spoon!

Good and practical
Great size for individual drink, light weight. Easy to use, not tight in the neck, so a courser grind is best. Unusual in white(!) but you can see the coffee clearer when cleaning being light

Hi Adi,
Yes, you could use aluminium capsules in this Habitat 3 Cup Cafetiere - Black, providing you open the capsule and only use the coffee inside.
Thank you for using Q&A
I use this for grounded coffee i am sure if you pop out the coffee from the aluminium capsules it should work and filter the coffee.
If you empty the capsules into it then yes it’s fine , I’ve done this myself
This is not to brew your coffee on gas or electric cooker.
You have to add grounded loose coffee add hot water and then wait for 1mins press down and pour in a mug. Hope this helps.

HI there
Having checked with the supplier for you I can let you know No, definitely no.The glass is not supposed to be forced out from the plastic carrier for any purpose.
Thanks for using Argos Q & A
No. I looked at attempting to remove the glass beaker. It appears to be either clipped or glued. If you exert too much pressure on the beaker when trying to remove it, you risk breaking the beaker.
Hi there,
The jug is made of Borosilicate glass.
Thanks for using Argos Q&A
The jug itself is glass, but the holder is black plastic and protects the glass.
