About this product
The Pet Cooling Mat works by absorbing body heat and dissipating this back into the air through evaporation from the areas of the cooling pad that is not in use. This means the pad is cool to the touch but cools further with the pressure of your pet laying on it. This is better for your pet in that it gradually cools its body temperature rather than it laying on a cold surface. Warning: Keep Precautions so your pet shouldn't bite or chew the mat.

Works for my cat!
Bought this from Argos, thinking it may be a waste of money, or I am too late to get the benefit of it this heatwave. How wrong I was! Using it for my cat, and he loves it, spreads out, looking very comfortable. Doesn't say it's not for cats and he doesn't have big claws,so not done any damage to it. He is using it as a normal bed

The dogs actuall use it!
I bought this before a heatwave as the dogs ignore the flat cool mat we have. They have both used this one and really love it. Seems to do the trick helping them cool down in the hot weather so would definitely recommend.

The cooling mat is designed to activate when your dog lies on it, so it may not feel cold to the touch by hand. The gel inside works by absorbing your dog’s body heat to help keep them cool. If the mat becomes warm after use, simply leave it in a cool room for around 20 minutes to reset.
