Steam Elixir professional steam hair straightener: hydrating and protecting with Steam Active Care technology for flawless, damage-free straightening in one stroke. Argan oil-infused ceramic plates ensure shiny, soft hair while adjustable temperatures cater to all hair types, even longest and thickest hair. Clinical instrumental tests carried out in collaboration with the Bio Basic Europe research institute. In 95% of the cases treated, the hair was free from damage, remaining the same or improving (tests carried out at 200 degree celsius).
The Steam Active Care Technology protects from heat damage, thermal shock and breakage. Steam smooths fibers, preserving moisture for soft, and glossy hair, keeping frizz at bay.
Create your perfect style effortlessly with the ideal straightener for all hair types: 170 degree celsius for fine and thin hair, 185 degree celsius for medium hair, and 200-230 degree celsius for thick, hard-to-straighten hair.
To activate the steam, switch on the straightener and wait for it to heat up. Then open and close it until steam appears and use the straightener. If not in use for a few minutes, open and close the plates to reactivate the flow of steam before using again.

Worst straightener ever.
I have a pair of steam straighteners and they have stopped steaming so I thought I would try these. Big mistake! Compared to my old pair they are just rubbish. The plates don’t even meet unless you press really hard. I am going to write to the company for a refund.

They're alright I suppose
Got these as a gift for my girlfriend. I usually help her with her hair. After using these for the first time with filling up the water section to help with the straightening we haven't used this feature again. As normal hair straighteners they're fine. The feature of filling up the water section and having extra steam isn't worth the effort. .. plus doing this makes part of the handle wet where your hand holds the product. Not sure if its from the steam or from a leak. A little overpriced for what they are.
