Regret Buying – Poor Accuracy
I’m really disappointed with these Babyliss trimmers. I wish I could return them. When I try to line up my moustache or beard, I can’t actually see what I’m trimming because of the electronic guard that’s always on. It can’t be removed, which makes accuracy almost impossible. For something that should make grooming easier, this design flaw makes it frustrating and pretty useless. Would not recommend.

Stunning Looks and Great Performance
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the Metal series Hair Trimmers and this Stubble trimmer is of the same sort of quality. They just look amazing right from the box itself which is superb as packaging goes. The trimmer itself is no different, looking totally gorgeous when removed from the box.The ultra modern grey/chrome finish with striking blue LED lighs and display just look amazing. The trimmer just ouzes quality as soon as you pick it up, fortunately the S996U isn't just about looking stunning as once charged and powered up it is very easy to use with its adjustable stubble length adjustment at the touch of a button coupled with an blue LED display from 0.4mm to 5.0mm in 0.2mm increments giving you total control of your stubble length. The trimmer gaurd can also be removed for detailing and sideburn trimming etc. Overall this is an excellent stubble trimmer which I am very happy with and I have now been converted from jumping between close shaved and too much stubble as it is so easy to keep your stubble looking consistently good with ease. My only slight gripe is that I would have prefered it to have had a charging dock instead of just a USB-C cable and having to lay it on the work surface while charging, a dock would have been much tidier but still very happy with my Shiny ne trimmer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hi I’ve been using this for the last few weeks it arrived really quick and I love the design as it’s just like the clippers in the set It’s well made and easy to you. Use For me I would say it’s not for me as I have really thick hair on my face and it struggled to cut it and took quite a while for me to trim my face and I also had used to to have it completely trimmed down on to the very lowest setting and it would not like to cut the hair but I would say is if haven’t got thick facial hair like myself this would be absolutely perfect for someone to use for their face to trim and style it it’s another nice bit of kit from babyliss

I like the adjustable length control on a blue led display. Easy to clean under the tap as fully waterproof. A quick charge and battery power constantly visible on led display..it gives a perfect trim and feels smooth on the face. I like the floating head for comfort and control. To be honest there is nothing not to like about this trimmer a really great product from Babyliss.

Sleek cordless waterproof trimmer

It looks modern and sleek with electronically adjustable length control and LED screen. The size of trimmer is appropriate size for my grip which is important for a trimmer. This has USB C which I think should be industry standard now. Would have been better if Babyliss could have added a usb charging stand as other Metal series.

The starship Enterprise of Trimmers
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always bought the cheaper trimmers in the past, the black plastic one’s that come with lot’s of combs. After a year I find myself buying another one as they are no longer any good. However I have just got the Babyliss Super-X Metal series Stubble Trimmer S996U. The first thing I would say is WOW. This is a metal (not cheap plastic) body with beautiful blue lights on charging and using. It feels like real quality when you hold it. Unlike all the others where you have a bag full of combs, the clever people at Babyliss have designed it with a comb fitted that can be adjusted to the depth you want, it even has an L.E.D display showing what you have chosen. If you want really close then the comb can be detached from the blade. So no more going through tons of combs and squinting to try and read the size. It gives me the perfect trim and I just love it. It really is like the Starship Enterprise of trimmers, from it looks, its capabilities and great new ideas to solve an age old problem with the combs. I am 100% sold on this trimmer.
