I bought this toothbrush to replace and upgrade my old Oral B toothbrush that had lasted many years. The IO9 may seem expensive at first glance but it does an amazing job. You know that feeling when you have just had a dental hygienist appointment? Well the IO9 gives me that feeling every time I brush. There are several modes you can choose from and switch between as you wish. Unlike my old Oral B, whose light only changed colour to warn that I was using too much pressure, the ring light on this one indicates if there is too little, too much, or just the right pressure, being applied, which I find extremely useful. It takes only three hours to fully charge and comes with two different charging cords. The only downside is that, unlike my old toothbrush, it doesn't come with a UK adaptor, so if you don't have a shaver socket in your bathroom or an old Oral B toothbrush you can use the adaptor from (which is what I did), you'll need to buy a suitable adaptor if you want to use it in the UK if an adaptor had been included, I would have given the IO9 five stars.

Feedback would be nice
I like it so much but where I would update this product is an interface of the app. I would enjoy more if “teeth layout” would be interactive and it would be possible to get feedback on what I did not do or did good after I brush on each zone of the teeth. Maybe tips would work too.

Great piece of kit
Been using this brush for a a few weeks now. And every time I use it. My teeth are as smooth as anything. All the features are very handy in terms of keeping my gums healthy. The app is very informative and tracks progress. And also I’ve had it hold a full charge for more than a week.
