I have vinyl flooring in the hallway and all throught downstaires with 2 young children and 2 golden retrievers... the hallway and living room/ dining room is very heavily trafficked/stained dirt wise... but this steamer... oh my god! Like a miracle worker... takes seconds to heat and after one use my floor looks brand new again and it's sparkling. So so happy with my purchase, great little investment.

Faulty unit
Received a faulty product I was looking forward to trying out a steam mop (my first ever) only to be extremely disappointed. Did everything correctly as per manual. Looked up possible solutions online. Nothing. It starts for a few seconds then stops completely. Will be returning and not getting another again.

End of scrubbing by hand.
Used first time a few weeks as got rough tiled floor worked really well floor came up very clean saved me scrubbing floor on my hands and knees. So far so good best steam mob I ever brought for rough gripped kitchen floor tiles.

Avoid at all costs
I’ve had two of these now, one was a replacement for the other under warranty. Both just stop steaming. first one I had for one year and the second I had for six months. Will not be buying. a third. Also I’ve definitely noticed that a mop cleans much better and this item literally smears the dirt around, you think you’re cleaning the floor but you’re definitely not. After using this for a long time I then went back to a mop and bucket and realise my floor was absolutely filthy. Would like to have tried this mop with the microfibre pads but never got the chance too. Definitely would not buy again.

If your Shark Steam & Scrub Mop is only releasing water, ensure it’s plugged in properly and the tank is filled. Select a steam setting using the mode button and allow around 20 seconds to heat up. Check the indicator lights are on, and if the issue continues, try using a different socket.

The Shark Steam & Scrub can be used on sealed flagstone, but it’s important to test a small, hidden area first to ensure the surface tolerates steam safely. Avoid unsealed stone, and for sealed surfaces, NORMAL or DEEP mode works well on stone, marble, and tile.
