An overall good purchase
The smaller capacity of the kettle means it does not strain my wrists when filling it. The plastic outer coating means there are no burn risks. The smaller capacity also means the kettle boils sooner and you do not over fil it unnecessarily. The bleeps to notify you when the kettle has boiled and to select the temperature are useful but can be annoying at times. A sleek and stylish design.

Simply Superb
Bought this about a month ago and it is great. Not only does it boil quickly and quietly (much quieter than our previous Bosch costing over £100). The added temp feature is great.

Plastic inside boiling area, and beeps a lot!
I bought this mainly because I was under the impression it had no plastic in contact with the boiling water you're using, however that isn't quite the case. There is plastic by the spout holding the limescale filter. The rest of the water compartment is fully metal. The outside of the kettle is insulated with plastic which is good as it makes it more efficient and keeps the water warmer for longer. Another annoyance is that the thing beeps when you put it down, beeps when you want to boil it and beeps when it finishes. I'd not buy this knowing now that it beeps at every opportunity and does in fact use plastic in the boiled water compartment.

OMG! No! The Beeps!
I really like the clean, sleek design & the stainless steel interior of this kettle which minimises any contact the water has with plastic. I’m not that bothered about variable temperatures but did find the live temperature reading on my previous kettle very useful & that feature was one of the main reasons I bought this kettle. However… we just couldn’t stand the loud, annoying, constant beeping! There’s no option to disable them. Definitely over-engineered. Also description is not accurate. There’s no mention of beeps & there is no illuminated water level gauge. Pretty disappointing. We returned it.

Sleek and efficient
