Good but heavier than previous kettles.
I bought this kettle as my previous one was the same make, but was very noisy. The new one is very much quieter. However it is also much heavier than I expected and I have difficulty picking it up once it is even half full. Otherwise it is OK.

We bought this kettle in December to replace our older kettle. No problems with it to date. It's quiet and pours well. A good design with a lid which opens wide, easy to see how much water is in the kettle and a handle which gives plenty of room for your hand.

The plastic water level indicator is held in place by friction. If you try to remove it gently, while the unit is cold, it will come away. It can also be put back in.

Having checked the manual I can see you will need to lower the filter into the kettle, and engage the bottom hook in the bottom of the spout. Press the top of the filter towards the kettle, to lock the hook in
place.
