Returned kettle after 2 days
I had to return after two days due to tea tasting horrid and the level of noise this kettle made whist boiling. Tea did not taste of tea at all. It was the weirdest taste and I just can’t explain how horrible it was. Claims to be 75% quiet but I think they must have meant 75% louder than the average kettle…why so loud?!

The best thing is the quiet boil but you must descale it frequently to keep it quiet. Hard water in our area. Looks good with blue light around bottom edge. Filter keeps well and doesn't tear. Boils quick.

Nice kettle overall
Lovely kettle, boils quickly, a little noisier than expected. There's a little filter at the top of the kettle just under the spout that keeps coming loose and falling into the kettle which is a little annoying. I keep having to try to fish it out of the kettle and refit it. But not worth returning the kettle over that, it still boils water which is all I need. Looks nice too.

Smaller bubbles mean up to 75% less noise than previous models, so it is not possible to incorporate a volume control.

The plastic water level indicator is held in place by friction. If you try to remove it gently, while the unit is cold, it will come away. It can also be put back in.

Having checked the manual I can see you will need to lower the filter into the kettle, and engage the bottom hook in the bottom of the spout. Press the top of the filter towards the kettle, to lock the hook in
place.
