Customers Say
The Flymo mower is lightweight and compact, making it ideal for small lawns. However, many users report issues with flimsy parts, particularly the handle pins and blade height adjustment, affecting overall satisfaction.

Great Lawn Mower
I bought this sometime ago in the Spring, it's seen all summer with no problems. It's a great machine, it folds nicely to fit hanging on my shed wall.

Let down by cheap construction
The handles of this flymo are held in place by two simple plastic pins which are meant to hold the handles in place. However, it turns out that the simple activity of using the Flymo makes these pins come loose and they can fall out. If they do fall out, they are very easy to accidentally mow over them before you notice that one has fallen out. We accidentally destroyed two pins within the first month of ownership and had to then buy overpriced replacements from Flymo (cheaper alternatives are available from popular online shopping platforms). I now have used thick tape to try to hold the pins in position…this might at least help us see when one is coming loose. It makes the product feel cheap as a result all for the sake of saving a few pence in the construction costs. I would never buy a product from this range again if they continue to use plastic locking pins.

Does the job (mostly)
Cheap (relatively!) and cheerful lawnmower which mostly does the job for my small lawn. It's light and easy to use which is great. Two negatives are: a) the plastic bolts which hold the handles in to the main body of the lawnmower are flimsy and pop out sometimes when mowing; b) the bolts holding the blades onto the underside of the mower are stuck fast (I've tried a range of people and methods to unscrew them!), which means I can't adjust the height of the mow. So - I guess it's fine for the money, but I do wish it was made with better parts which did what they are meant to do!

Noisy and difficult to put together
The lawnmower does the job reasonably well, not as good as others I’ve tried. Putting it together was unnecessarily difficult, annoying and the instructions are useless. It’s also incredibly noisy. Good points are it is compact and the cable doesn’t get in the way.

Good little mower
I’m very pleased with this mower Inexpensive pice of equipment for the garden, It really had to work hard as my dads grass was very overgrown but it stood the test of time I have now given it to my daughter and she is happy Down side no grass box but as we are being asked to leave the cuttings on the lawn now ‘hey ho’
