I bought this last week when my old Flymo stopped working. I haven't used it yet as the grass doesn't need cutting yet. I have had a Flymo for years so hope this is as good and long lasting as previous ones.

Best Flymo Ever!
This is the flymo for pensioners and the non strong - it floats, unlike others in the range with heavier bigger motors - easy to push - cuts even longer grass - light enough to carry - gives a nice even cut - big enough blade - identical feel to the one in the adverts all those years ago. I thought I would have to invent a time machine to get hold of this but thankfully Argos have it in stock.

I love this mower. Lightweight, hovers better than anything I’ve used before. My only criticism is that it took a lot of effort to lower the blades to the right height. And you need to wear protective gloves to do this.

Suitable for Small Gardens
It’s easy to assemble. Suitable only for small gardens. It’s not too heavy. The only problem I find is adjusting the height. You have to unscrew the blade in order to put a spacer in place for a lower cut. This is difficult as the screw is quite tight. It cuts ok. It’s easy to manoeuvre. However, don’t expect a “Wimbledon “ style cut. Nevertheless for £60 you get what you pay for. Good enough for a small gardens.

ItS a metal blade but and this is the problem it is supposed to be changed either after 2 years or 50 cuts. I had a black and decker metal blade and it lasted 25 years and the blade was still good. I think this would add to the expensive and inconvenience.

Flymo Turbo Lite 270 27cm Corded Hover Lawnmower - 1400W
This comes with 3 cutting height spacers which have to be fitted between the blade and fan in order to change the cutting height. Spacers must only be fitted between the blade and the fan and NEVER between the blade and the bolt. Details of how to fit these will be provided in your instruction manual.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Flymo Turbo Lite 270 27cm Corded Hover Lawnmower - 1400W: The Turbolite 270 height is 80cm so it would not be able to go completely under a trampoline however it would be able to get under slightly and all the way round to overcome this.
