After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the
Habitat Nomad Side Table - Oak: The internal dimensions of the lower shelf are W29.4 x D27.5 x H34cm.  If a 28cm storage box is placed in it, it will exceed 0.5cm.

The height of the bottom shelf is 34cm so it won't be suitable for a 40cm tall sub woofer. The top shelf is 23.6cm tall.
