Bought this hoping to make ironing easier being cordless. It took a lot longer than 15 seconds to recharge when set back on the base in between. Possible to lock base on to make it like a corded iron but that made it very heavy.

The Breville VIN439 Turbo Charge Cordless Iron is designed to be used as a steam iron, it is not recommended to use it as a dry iron as it may damage the soleplate.
