A Doorbell
Does exactly what we needed. The bell is very audible and we found a basic doorbell sound we're happy with. I was a bit surprised that the portable one required 4 batteries (should have checked). They're also quite wide, so it took a little rejigging to fit the plug in receiver onto my extension lead. Both minor issues that only affect set up, so once that was done, it is pretty much what it says on the tin.
