Huge variation in colour!
Now, to an extent I understand that glazed tableware like this can have a degree of variation when it comes to the final colour. But this Habitat set is taking the micky! Surely, you would try to pack the lighter ones together in a set and the darker ones together in a separate set, and not mix them up to create such a non-coherent set. There are some little holes as well which were probably little bubbles which then popped. Too early to tell if that will make them prone for breaking. I hated them at the start, but then decided to keep them because we really needed new ones and they were kind of cheap. I just serve on either lighter ones or darker ones at a time. Habitat should really look into their quality assurance there.

Beautiful finish, good quality for the price
The glaze is beautiful, and the items seem robust enough for the price. It is good to be aware in advance that items with reactive glaze finish will differ from each other slightly. The only negative is that I found several items had a very small amount of bubbling to the glaze, or small areas of rough surface, which suggests they would damage/chip easily. I returned 2 sets before finding a set I was entirely happy with as I am quite particular and wanted them to last. They are very inexpensive compared to other brands selling similar items though, so I would not expect perfection or for them to be quite as long lasting and resistant to damage.

Good family Gift
I bought my first one of these sets of tableware a year ago as a gift for my family friends family, I bought a second in Dec '25, for my neighbour and family, that says a lot about how pleased that I have been with my purchases of this item.

Poor quality for habbitat
Love the colour of this dinner set. It was bought as a gift so felt i had to keep it. I bought another two set to make one good set. The glaze was pitted or scratched so the pottery was on show so if it got wet it would soak in. I've not got one round plate as all of them have a wave at one side which is a bit quirky I suppose. Dinner Service
I purchased the service and four pasta bowls. I decided to purchase 4 more bowls as they are useful. One arrived broken so I went to the store and got a refund for all of them. Since then one plate( used twice) and a pasta bowl have cracked. Despite using a dishwasher. The bowl has cracked exactly in the same place as the one I returned. Lovely looking .... but

Disappointed by quality
Unfortunately though the colour is beautiful, the dinner set edges were worn in a few places and prone to chip. Not great quality at all. I had been looking at the Habitat range for a while and jumped to buy a couple of boxes when there was a sale on so was sad that they aren't the best

Dinnerware is tested and passes all required legislation in relation to lead and cadmium release.
I cant say its lead or cadmium free as the test only ensures the release is below the legislated level so there still maybe a small quantity of lead and cadmium present.
