Damaged good but no personal customer service.
Looks nice but once unpacked noticed one dinner plate had a pin prick imperfection right in the centre that caused a ripple crack. Tried to contact customer service but everything is automated so couldn't speak to an actual human. I wanted a replacement plate. Not to return the whole dinner set which was unpacked.

Beautiful dinner set
I bought this dinner set a few weeks ago and have used it a couple of times since. I can honestly say it is really beautiful. It is top quality. Beautiful finish and colour. Very attractive on the dinner table. No negatives whatsoever.

Beautiful aesthetics, questionable durability
Aesthetically, the set is unrivalled, however, their durability is questionable since chips have appeared on my plates from nowhere within 2 months of purchase. Additionally, the colour variation makes the finish confusing. I had to go back to the shop to change almost half of them due to them being more shades of green, and emerald than blue.

Not great
I brought two boxes. First box had a missing plate and bowl took it back and second box’s had chips in a plate and a bowl. They chip very easily.

Disappointed
I do like the dinner sets however I ordered 2 and the are completely different colours, I would have returned however I hadn’t noticed at first & I had thrown the boxes away.

Pretty, but crockery base coarse and scratches.
The good: the crockery looks great! Usual dishwasher and microwave safe, the pieces are of good size: not too big to store, bowls have good depth to reduce spills and the plates have depth too. The bad: There's no excuse for this. The ridges on the bases which make contact with e.g. table, are unglazed and coarsely ground. The crockery can/will scratch metal sinks, table tops, place mats - and other crockery. Have to store with felt dividers, so add to the cost. Disappointing. Because the set looks lovely, I've used it for guests, but I'm sticking with old crockery for daily use.

Great plates
I absolutely love these plates. The design is just beautiful. I was looking for something a little different and they’re perfect.

Lovely design & great finish
I had these on notify me as they were hard to come by, and were on offer at the time. I managed to get them to my local store and was very impressed with them. Lovely design and quite rustic looking which suited us. We did want 2 boxes but they came off of the offer and were unavailable in a 25 mile radius. We luckily managed to pick up matching plates and pasta bowls from Sainsbury's. Very happy overall.

Huge variation in colour!
Now, to an extent I understand that glazed tableware like this can have a degree of variation when it comes to the final colour. But this Habitat set is taking the micky! Surely, you would try to pack the lighter ones together in a set and the darker ones together in a separate set, and not mix them up to create such a non-coherent set. There are some little holes as well which were probably little bubbles which then popped. Too early to tell if that will make them prone for breaking. I hated them at the start, but then decided to keep them because we really needed new ones and they were kind of cheap. I just serve on either lighter ones or darker ones at a time. Habitat should really look into their quality assurance there.

Hello Beeb,
The supplier has advised the following for the 12 Piece Reactive Stoneware Dinner Set - Navy:
The only unglazed part is the ring on the base of the plates.
Thank you for using Q and A.
Hello Kate.
After contacting our suppliers they have advised for the Habitat 12 Piece Reactive Stoneware Dinner Set - Navy.
Dinnerware is tested and passes all required legislation in relation to lead and cadmium release.
I cant say its lead or cadmium free as the test only ensures the release is below the legislated level so there still maybe a small quantity of lead and cadmium present.
Thank you for using Q&A.
