About this product
The Sonos Era 300 is a wireless smart speaker built around spatial audio that surrounds you rather than directing sound only forward. With six drivers positioned around the front, sides and top, it supports Dolby Atmos Music and creates a soundstage that fills the room from floor to ceiling, so wherever you're sitting or standing, you get the full effect. It connects via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or 3.5mm line-in using the Sonos Line-In Adapter, and streams from any service through the Sonos app.
The custom waveguides fire audio in every direction, creating that spacious stereo effect you'd normally only get in a proper sweet spot, except here the whole room becomes the sweet spot. Alexa voice control is built in for hands-free operation, and you can pair two Era 300s with a Sonos Arc or Beam Gen 2 for a full Dolby Atmos home cinema setup. It runs on mains power and comes with a 2-year manufacturer's guarantee. Setup's handled through the Sonos app, and it works with iPhone, iPad and DAB FM radio too.

I bought a pair of these, coming up to 6 months now. Superb sound! I have always bought SONOS since they announced themselves on the home entertainment market with their Play 1's. Having been a sound design engineer in TV, Cinema and radio advertising for the past 30 years, I have traditionally opted for exceptionally welll crafted speakers that often demand a high price point over that time. However, the design, mobility and functionality of their speakers is truly impressive, given their overall size, which ultimately won me over. These Era 300 are my third SONOS purchase. They are OUTSTANDING! The lower frequencies are punchy, warm and tight, middles are decadent and cohesive and the silk dome tweeters offer transparently tranquil, detailed and clearly present highs without any harshness. To get the best out of these speakers in terms of immersive dimension, you really need a stereo pair...that's when they really come into their own, although one on its own still sounds great. Connectivity is straightforward and you're up and running within 5 minutes of unboxing. No need for a Sonos Bridge. They just connect to your existing WiFi network. I'm very happy!!

Great addition to the Sonos system . Great high-quality And enough amount of base . Depending on the size of the room, no sub needed . Speaker design, probably not to everybody’s taste But the sound quality will get you past that little Issue 😂 No standalone battery power always needs plugging in , So probably not for you if you need Versatility of different location

Expensive but god it's amazing sound so I guess you only get what you pay for, paired up with the Sonos arc ultra soundbar and Sonos sub 4 it's better than being in the cinema, top that off with my new LG g5 oled 65 inch and I don't wanna leave home lol

I bought this to play radio and music. It works fine via wifi. There is no battery, it's mains powered only, so ignore rating of battery life!

From the information we have available, it may not be possible via Bluetooth. It may be possible to connect it to a TV via HDMI but it'd depend on the brand, age, and model of the TV. If the TV has If the TV has HDMI eARC and HDMI ARC, it's likely to work. If it's not directly compatible, it is likely to still be compatible via some kind of home theatre set up. It may also then work if that set up is Bluetooth enabled. We'd advise to check the specs of the TV, you current set up and the specs of this device before considering any purchase.

The Sonos Era 300 Wireless Smart Speaker - White may not give you the best surround sound as it is not designed to work with a TV.
