The Habitat Nomad Blocked Bookcase gives you plenty of vertical display space without taking over your room. It's tall and narrow, so it tucks into smaller spaces while offering four fixed shelves for books, ceramics, photos or plants. The wood-effect finish brings warmth to your living room or hallway, and it's sturdy and built to hold up to everyday use. You can load each shelf with up to 10kg, so there's room for a proper collection of your favourite things. Wall fixings are included and fitting them's important for stability, especially if you've got kids around.
The shelves are fixed in place, so everything stays secure and evenly spaced. There's enough depth to fit cube storage boxes if you want to keep smaller items organised and out of sight. The compact footprint works well in tighter spots where wider units won't fit. Arrives flat-packed with clear instructions, and you'll want a hand putting it together. Love this bookcase!
Bought this a month ago - fully flat pack but simple enough to put together, and looks great in my lounge! Very sturdy (and can screw into the wall to make it even sturdier if needed). Really spacious shelves too. Really happy for the value for money here.

Beautiful shelf unit
We have wanted to get this shelf for a while, seeing it on offer was a no brainer. Arrived next week, great service from delivery guys. Read the instructions, grabbed the mallet and it was ready under 45 minutes. If is quite a challenge (read the numbers:) but once you get the hang of it is fairly easy. It is a main piece in our living room.

A good looking piece. Difficulty level 7/10 to put together. It would be better with feet, as the flat bottom accentuates an uneven floor. Good value for money. Very pleased on the whole.

Thanks for your query about the Nomad Blocked Bookcase - Oak.
Yes, you could put two of these next to each other as their edges are pretty much flush/level. They don’t come with any fixings to attach them to each other though so they’d be free standing still. You’d have to just butt them up against each other.
(It might perhaps, technically, be possible to fix two units together (e.g. with screws and brackets, if properly done) but this would be an alteration and would invalidate the item’s guarantee. Also, we could not guarantee their stability if this is done as they’re not designed to be anything other than freestanding, separate units. To use them in this way would be at the user’s own risk).
