Great product!
My 89 year old Mum had cataracts removed from both eyes and we were advised, post op, that she should wear sunglasses whilst her brain adjusted to the new sensory inputs. I initially chose these because they were oversized, offering protection at the sides, reasonable price point and immediate availability. A great buy at a reasonable price
Bought early this year as not only a new pair of sunglasses but as I was due to have eye treatment and good UV protection was needed. The glasses are of good build and a nice wraparound shape fitting nicely under the eyebrow. The metallic fastening on the arms allows you to put them in a top pocket knowing they won’t drop out. Although considered too dark for driving, given the very reasonable price these sunglasses are a great buy.

Do the job
Good glasses for driving which is my main use, bit star treck for round town and bit tight around head. Also magnets seem bit powerful so as l have a pacemaker and wear hearing aids l contacted jml and was assured they are safe to wear However l do think this should be made clear on the box. Overall good glasses and value for money.

Bought this a few Days ago my second one the first one got broken, I do love these sunglasses had a look around first at reviews and other options. I do have a cataract. I placed the order early Morning and it was ready for collection the same Day. The staff as before were warm and friendly. Ray-age 74 still feeling young.

The PolaOptics glasses are UV400 rated, meaning that they block out 100% of UV rays – up to 400 nanometres (the top end of the UV spectrum).
The category of the sunglasses cat 3 in our case refers to how much visible light that the lenses of the sunglasses let through. The higher the category, the darker the lens. With any sunglasses it is advised not to look directly at the sun.
