Good quality strimmer plenty of power..long cord. I found the included B&D steamer wire too fragile and it got used up very quickly. Once replaced with cheaper wire it is much better. Its quite heavy

First impressions are this is a great strimmer. It’s a bit heavy and the strap could be more comfortable but it is powerful. The rotating head and wheel make lawn edging easy. I also like the h/d lines that can be quickly interchanged with the line spool.

No you cannot add a metal blade. This is designed to take those spools of cord only.

Our supplier has advised that the Black + Decker 35cm Corded Grass Trimmer will only work with the 2mm line supplied and not with any other diameter.
The Strimmer can be used with the HDL (Heavy Duty Lines) for more overgrown areas.
