About this product
Boil water for a single cup or the whole family with ease. The Kenwood ZJP09.000CR Dawn Kettle handles both with its 1.7l capacity and clear water window, so you only boil what you need. Its 3000W power delivers a rapid boil, while the concealed heating element controls limescale and simplifies cleaning. The removable, washable filter catches particles, and the pull-off lid allows easy filling and cleaning. Its cream finish with textured stripes and gloss accents adds calm tones to your worktop, and the 360-degree base lets left or right-handers lift and place it from any angle.
It weighs just 1.09kg when empty, so it's light to handle and easy to move around. The boil-dry protection automatically switches off when the kettle's empty, giving you proper peace of mind. With a 0.75m cable and tidy base design, it'll sit neatly wherever you need it, and you'll get a reassuring 1-year manufacturer's guarantee.

Great kettle
I purchased this Kenwood Dawn kettle in the Oatmeal Cream colour and it looks perfect in our new kitchen. It’s simple to use and really quiet. It’s not exactly the same colour as the matching toaster I purchased at the same time, but they are not positioned together, so it’s not a big problem.

safe and tidy
I like that the kettle rotates around the central connector. It is an excellent pourer with no steam escaping from the lid or water escaping through the gap. I do find it a bit noisy but will happily put up with this.

Three Winning Features!
I bought this two weeks ago and it is performing well. Many well known brands to consider. This Kenwood fitted my choice criteria on 3 important counts: 1. has a wide, non-drip spout, 2. the lift-off lid makes filling it easy, and 3. the water level indicator is easy to read - not obscured by the handle. The other points are a bonus such as colour choice: I prefer cream. Weight and shape nicely balanced. The capacity is ideal. And it boils a full jug in just over 3 minutes. Makes a large pot of tea with enough for a top-up. Well done Kenwood designers. Top marks Argos for stocking Kenwood.!
