About this product
The DM series speakers deliver balanced, punchy bass sound and they can pump out extra power thanks to the new Class D amplifier and 4-inch woofer in each unit. Flick the switch to change from DJ mode to Production mode and the DSP settings will automatically create the best sound for each application.
Deco Convex Diffusers help deliver crystal-clear high frequencies in every direction, so you can enjoy a wide sweet spot and 3D stereo sound whenever you are in the room.
Grooved Ducts. The grooves on the ducts reduce air friction so bass is tight and punchy, even if you position the speakers against a wall. Plus, the curved front edges provide maximum rigidity and minimum resonance for clean audio at any volume level.

Looks great but don’t work!
Absolutely gutted! Present for Christmas and go to turn them on and nothing. They are not receiving power so the quiet Christmas will continue!

To connect your Pioneer DJ DM-40D speakers to a turntable, you’ll need to consider whether your turntable has a built-in preamp or not.
If Your Turntable Has a Built-in Preamp

Hello Jon,
I can advise the following for the Pioneer DJ DM-40D Speakers:
Apologies, this doesn't have a built in mounts, you will need to use a thrid party solution to mount these on a desk at ear height or external stands if the desk space isn't there. You could also wall mount them, but keep in mind each position will change the "Voicing" of the monitors.

From the information we have available, I can advise the Pioneer DJ DM-40D speakers can work directly with the Pioneer DDJ-FLX4 controller. The DM-40D speakers are active monitors, meaning they have built-in amplifiers and can be connected directly to the DDJ-FLX4 without needing additional equipment.
