About this product
The Sonos Ray turns any TV setup into something you'll actually want to use, delivering balanced, room-filling sound from a compact soundbar that fits inside most TV stands without taking over your living room. At around 56cm wide, it's built for smaller spaces but still delivers crisp dialogue and audio depth that standalone TV speakers can't touch. Setup couldn't be simpler - just 2 cables (optical and power, both included), a few taps in the Sonos app, and you're done, and it syncs with your existing TV remote so you're not juggling extra controllers.
When the TV's off, the Sonos Ray streams music from Spotify Connect, Apple AirPlay 2, or the Sonos app for radio, podcasts and audiobooks over Wi-Fi. Advanced processing positions sound around the room, and it's multi-room compatible, letting you expand into a full Sonos system by adding rear speakers or a subwoofer. Dolby sound technology and a built-in amplifier handle everything from whispered conversations to action scenes. It's wall-mountable to keep your TV stand clear (fixings sold separately). The box includes the soundbar, optical cable, power cord, and a 2-year guarantee.

Sound quality 10/10 really good sound even on lower volume l. Controller 7/10 controlled via phone pain but not a deal breaker and touch controle Size 9/10 compace unit. Io 6/10 only has optical connections Price 8/10 cheaper then other models but still worth the price. Can connect music steaming services and use as a standalone music system

Great Sound Bar
I bought this a few weeks ago and it’s a perfect addition for my TV. The sound is great and makes everything so much clearer especially when watching films as sometimes you can’t always understand what they are saying as the sound isn’t very clear. Perfect !!

Great all round for such a compact unit
I bought the Ray sound bar as I have the beam in the other room with a larger TV. In my back room I don’t have the space for a large TV and Beam so decided on the Ray. I wasn’t disappointed. The only issue I had was using my Sky Q remote to work the volume. After I Googled it some were saying it would work then others said it wouldn’t. So I tried again adding the Sky remote and it worked.

Brilliant Sound
This soundbar is brilliant. I have one in the lounge and i purchased this one for the bedroom. The sound is virtually cinema quality. I wouldn’t buy any other brand.

SUPERB SMALL SOUNDBAR
I bought this to replace a large soundbar that was proving problematic. Have not been disappointed, the sound is fantastic, especially vocals, can now hear people speaking clearly now. Plenty of adjustments available, plenty of bass for it's size too. The only downside and it's not a Biggie is the lack of a Hdmi connection. This would only be an issue if the TV did not have an optical (toslink) connector, hence the removal of one star.

“ The Sonos Ray is a new product only released this year, so it's still only in it's first iteration. It does only function on the Sonos S2 app though. ”

It DOES come with optical in what looks like the instruction box. This is a problem as no self respecting individual will look at those.
