The Dyson Ball Animal Corded Bagless Upright is built for homes with pets, long hair, and thorough carpet cleaning. The Motorbar cleaner head gets right into carpet fibres and seals tightly on hard floors, while Dyson's de-tangling technology automatically lifts hair off the brush bar and sends it straight into the bin. The tangle-free turbine tool works great on pet beds, sofas and upholstery without tangles.
It's a corded vacuum with a long power cord and hose for extended reach around the house and up high. The instant-release wand clicks free with one motion for stairs, ceilings and tight spots. Three cleaning modes suit deep pile carpets, medium pile with larger debris, and hard floors with ground-in dirt. Radial Root Cyclone technology maintains steady suction with no power loss. The bagless dustbin uses multi-cyclonic tech and empties easily. It includes an upholstery nozzle and turbo brush. The adjustable motorised floorhead switches between carpets, rugs, hard floors, and upholstery, with side suction reaching edges and skirting boards.

Ive had a corded Dyson in the past. We bought a Henry although very very good not a patch on the Dyson. The ease of manoeuvrability, the suction, the quietness of the Dyson outweighs all of the strengths of the Henry. Also the storage of the Dyson is easier.

Purchased yesterday the weight on the box states 9.76 KG not sure if that includes the cardboard box packaging it comes in.
Someone called Karen, whom I believe works for Argos, replied that it is 7kgs. Sadly thats what Dyson want everyone to believe by omitting a key and heavy component.
