Excellent set of steps
Being a woman of 5ft. I find these steps very useful for various households tasks. The wide tread gives me confidence that I won't fall off and the attached tray is very useful for holding bits and bobs. So far I have mainly used them to change curtains and put up blinds and feel much safer on these than my other set of steps.

Great Ladder
I didn’t think I’d ever feel this strongly about a step ladder, but here we are. As someone on the shorter side, I used to just stare longingly at high cupboards… now I simply climb up like the capable adult I pretend to be. It’s sturdy, easy to use, and the little tray is perfect for holding tools—or snacks. Honestly, if you’re tired of climbing kitchen counters like a rogue gymnast, this is the upgrade you need. 10/10, would recommend to fellow “vertically challenged” people everywhere.

On the side rail, near the end, there’s a small hole where the support arm clips in.
The arm clips up to hold the tray in place, and clips down to let the tray fold.

I think it’s got plastic
At top of steps at side o small cross bar is a little black tab you push it forward to open steps then backward to close. Takes time to figure out
