Stay charged longer by connecting this USB-C Solar Panel to any Ring USB-C Security Camera or barrel-plug camera with the included USB-C to barrel plug adapter. Mount horizontally, then use the adjustable arm with 180 degrees of tilt to get the perfect angle to maximise your solar power.
Compatible with new USB-C input Ring Security Cameras: Spotlight Cam Plus, Spotlight Cam Pro.
Use the included adapter for backwards compatibility with barrel-plug input Ring Security Cameras: Stick Up Cam (2nd and 3rd generations), Spotlight Cam (1st generation); not compatible with Stick Up Cam (1st Generation).

Every outdoor ring camera should have this it saves having to keep recharging battery and since using the solar panels I've not had to charge the battery once it's perfect.

On Ring website it clearly stated that this panel is compatible with gen2 bells . It clearly is not and was returned for refund.

Missing parts and instructions
I bought a Ring Solar Panel, it come with an Opened Examined Quality Control label. But it didn’t come with an instructions and fixing, cost me a lot of time to find the right fixing and find the instructions online. Really annoying that when I’m already borrowing a ladder and tools from others, but I can’t do the installation because I have to find everything by myself, so disappointed.

Hello Kaysha. The Ring 2nd Gen Solar Panel With USB charges an internal battery to store energy from direct and ambient sunlight and will gather energy anytime the sun is up. When the sun goes down, the camera operates on the internal battery. Hope this helps.
