The classic Acctim Smartlite sweeper alarm clock has traditional smart styling with a clear analogue display in bold black numbers. The crescendo alarm will ease you out of your slumber and there is a snooze function if you fancy a few more extra minutes in bed. Featuring a Smartlite function and a non-ticking sweep seconds hand. Smartlite technology automatically illuminates the display for easy night time viewing and turns off again during the daytime to prolong battery life.

This was just what we wanted, I bought two and what a difference to what we had before, good visual even at night, brilliant for nights lights automatically lights up at night and can be adjusted for brightness.

The clock itself works well but the second hand fell off after a few weeks I don't need the second hand so not an issue but would not recommend

This model is an alarm clock with smartline. Clocks with smartlite feature automatically illuminates the display when is getting dark. Smartline feature can not be switched on or switched off manually.

Yes it does.
Description says silent sweep.
Not the one I bought.
Time adjustment knobBazza is stuck inside the back and so is very difficult to operate.
Will be taking this back tomorrow.
