Good Buy
Great iron, heats quickly and being a little heavier than previous iron actually helps the process.

Does what it is supposed to do.
Bought to replace a Phillips steam iron wihich started to leak after over 20 years use. It does what it is suposed to do and if it lasts as long as its predecessor I will be happy.

Does the job perfectly?
I’ve been using this for a few weeks now. It does everything you expect from an iron. No complaints apart from one small thing. The back end is shaped unusually so it doesn’t sit in the space made for it on the ironing board. First world problems. I’m sure I’ll get over it.

Great iron so far but cord far too short and I’m right next to the socket! Would have gave 5 stars but cord very disappointing.

Great Iron
I bought this item as a replacement for one that no longer worked. Love the iron but the cord could do with being a bit longer.

Hello Carol,
Philips DST7020 Azur Steam Iron
The time it takes to use a tank of water varies depending on the fabric, temperature chosen and how much steam you need to iron each item. It automatically switches itself off after 8 minutes of not being used. It doesn't have a clip for the cable.
Thanks for using Q&A
Hi Andie
The Steamglide Plus soleplate is made of cermet and glass ceramics. It has an advanced titanium layer and 6 layer coating that delivers ultimate gliding performance over any fabric. The soleplate is not made entirely of ceramic, but only covered with ceramic enamel. It can be made of steel or aluminum. The material used in the production of coatings is glass ceramics or metal ceramics, which gives the sole lightness and the iron as a whole - the freedom of movement and smooth glide. The basis here is alloyed steel, because it is less susceptible to mechanical damage.
Hope this helps. Thanks for using Q&A.
