Good reliable iron
I bought this to replace my broken iron. It is the same model as the previous one which had seen better days. I am just as pleased with this one.

Excellent iron. Easy to use
Excellent iron to replace identical old one which had developed a fault after many years of use. Which?recommended. Cable about 50cms shorter than previous model so needs to be a little nearer electric socket

Good value
Bought this as a Which? best buy. Very satisfied, glides smoothly, large, easy fill water tank, clear temperature controls, long cord, steams well without drips. Does exactly what I needed and at a reasonable price

Good price, poor instructions
Excellent iron...a Which best buy....at a good price. But watch out for the "instructions" as they're almost totally visual with little text. Some people like this, some don't. The lead is also much shorter than my previous iron's

Good iron
I’m happy with the performance. The only thing I don’t like is the shortness of the power cable.

Smooth ironing
Good work of the iron. The smoothness achieved by steam is excellent. It makes ironing so easy.

Great iron
Bought this as a replacement as mine died on me, was a bit apprehensive as reviews mentioned too short cable, but it is absolutely fine , glides through creases with ease leaving nice smooth clothes,, good steam output, easy temperature adjustment, a nice weight too, deffinatly recommend this iron.

Works well but short cable
So far so good. I quite like the weight as it helps with deep creases. Glides well. I like the vent which opens to add water. Irons I've had in the past have small spouts which overflow unless you pour in very slowly. Downside is the cable is quite short so I'm limited on where I can plug in.

Really Good Iron.
This replaced an earlier version, which gave us many years of good use. Very happy with the amount of steam this produces.

Hello Carol,
Philips DST7020 Azur Steam Iron
The time it takes to use a tank of water varies depending on the fabric, temperature chosen and how much steam you need to iron each item. It automatically switches itself off after 8 minutes of not being used. It doesn't have a clip for the cable.
Thanks for using Q&A
Hi Andie
The Steamglide Plus soleplate is made of cermet and glass ceramics. It has an advanced titanium layer and 6 layer coating that delivers ultimate gliding performance over any fabric. The soleplate is not made entirely of ceramic, but only covered with ceramic enamel. It can be made of steel or aluminum. The material used in the production of coatings is glass ceramics or metal ceramics, which gives the sole lightness and the iron as a whole - the freedom of movement and smooth glide. The basis here is alloyed steel, because it is less susceptible to mechanical damage.
Hope this helps. Thanks for using Q&A.
