Purchased for my 98 year old mother-in-law.
Looks good and heats the room well.
The 'brass' grill across the front is actually plastic, but that's to be expected at this price. It is a good replica and it doesn't affect the overall look.

Good looking fire, it was to replace the same type/looks as our old one, which the heating element burnt, out and was not replaceable. That is typical of todays items, you cannot repair them, although they are still in perfect condition, and they complain about how much we through away! Poor show, NO FIXING SCREWS with the fire, I had to hunt the town to buy some, hense I did not give it the 5 Star rating.
