Sturdy Little Table

This is a well made sturdy little table. It is perfect for my kitchen and seats 4 people comfortably. Unfortunately I had to send the first table back as it was damaged in a few places ( which is always an inconvenience especially with larger items). Attaching the legs was fairly easy but some of the holes had to be re drilled as the bolts would not go all the way in. I had read the reviews and seen that other people had the same problem.

Excellent value dining table

Lovely table, rustic looking, but looks great in dining room. Nice wood stain and the hard wood seems sturdy. Ours had a slight chip under ridge, but does not affect look or performance. On carpet still study and stable. We actually managed to seat six for a lunch! As the legs are placed near to the end of the table, no-one had to have a table leg between the seating area, as some extended tables can. Excellent value for money, would recommend it. Obviously time will tell the longevity.

Perfect small table

Needed a small table following a house move but on a tight budget. This table is perfect. Its fits the space and is solid. Looks far more expensive than it was. Assembly was pretty straight forward just two bolts to attach each leg using the Allen key provided

Overall really happy with my new wfh desk. One leg wouldnt screw in properly, but ok for my purpose. Hex key provided for assembly was useless. Would definitely need a tablecloth/cover if using as a dining table, note the dimensions too it's a cosy fit for 4.

Get what you pay for - solid wooden table.

It's a £72 wooden table. The top is made from separate planks glued together, and as a result there's one spot on mine that needs filling. From underneath there's further evidence of cost cutting as the it's not the most precise piece of woodwork in the world. But since costs were cut, it's cheap, still sturdy and there is no plastic whatsoever. In my book that's a good deal. Someone noted the screws were a bit stiff as the allen key provided is quite puny, so I used my own which probably saved me 10 minutes and a tea break.

Great design, super durable, but not pine!

The table itself is a 5/5 – nice simple design, quality materials, strong, sturdy. The finish looks a little cheap, but will resist staining and most knocks and bumps. Really solid and rigorous for the price. It doesn't feel like a cheap table at all. I knocked a star off because the description was not strictly correct (it's not any kind of pine I know!) and the assembly process was an ordeal. It's a much harder wood than pine – looks like a cross between pine and beech. The holes drilled for the bolts to screw into were slightly too narrow; pine would have been soft enough to push a bolt through, but whatever wood this is made it a real challenge to screw the bolts all the way in. I was afraid of breaking my allen key at times! Finally managed to get the legs secure but what I expected to be a five minute job took over an hour, with frequent breaks to let the bolts cool down (they heated up under the strain and expanded; they were slightly easier to screw in when cooled). If you have a power drill, I highly recommend widening the bolt holes a little before you try to assemble it. Now that it's up, I'm really happy with it – I got it for drawing and writing; it's the perfect height and the hard wood won't get damaged by ink or scissors or anything, the way my (pine!) computer desk has been. I just hope I don't have to take it apart again! (Photos are not true to colour, they were taken under a cold LED bulb. It's a lovely honey tone IRL.)

Excellent value solid wood table

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by this table. You'll need a longer allen key to tighten the screws up properly as they are rather tight - but that results in a finished table that feels far more expensive than it actually is. Seats 4 comfortably and all 4 chairs tuck away completely under the table. Solid wood and under £60 with the discount - brilliant.
