About this product
The Habitat Cornelia Sideboard sorts your living room clutter and shows off your favourite bits at the same time. It's a solid oak frame with an oak veneer top that reveals the natural grain patterns you only get from real wood. There's two open shelves for displaying books, plants or photos, and a double-door cupboard that hides away games, drinks or crockery. The top gives you space for a lamp, vase or whatever you want to show off. It works as a TV unit too, there's a cable hole to keep wires tidy.
The half-moon cupboard handles add a smart design detail that's easy to grip. The oak veneer top wipes clean after spills and everyday marks. One shelf inside adjusts to different heights, so you can store taller items when you need to. The frame sits at 66cm high, so it's the right height for most living rooms. It requires wall-mounting because it's over 60cm tall, that's really important for stability and prevents tipping. Self-assembly with two people recommended, all fixings included. Maximum load weight is 40kg, so it handles everyday storage without stress.

I had my eye on this early January and last week thought” oh it’s time” . The puctures don’t do it justice. The ordering process was 2mins and 3 days later I received my delivery via two very helpful and polite gentleman that happy put it in a room of my choice. All I had to do was unpack and 40 mins later it looks utterly lovely, expensive, sturdy and very on trend. This piece won’t date. It will be a classic. Fantastic storage for my DVDs all hidden and then a side opening for my record player and records all organised for a change. You won’t be diss appointed. Fantastic investment piece.

Hello there. The Habitat Cornelia 2 Door Sideboard is 45cm tall (without the legs). The open section has an adjustable shelf within this size and has pre-drilled holes to place the shelf supports. The average bottle of spirit is approximately 30cm tall. You may not be able to include the use of the shelf if you choose to use the open section for this purpose. I hope this helps.

The supplier has advised the following for the Cornelia 2 Door Sideboard - Oak:
The width of the open shelf is 581mm. The left side shelf is moveable so this could allow you the room you might need for the DVD player. The cable hole is on the left hand side at the back, if you're looking at it from the front. (It's on the right side if you're facing the back of course).
As to whether your own DVD play would fit, without knowing more about ti's dimensions, we cannot confirm this to be so with any accuracy.
