Buy cheap buy twice
Had an Apple Pencil for many years, sadly managed to drop it and the sensor broke. I bought a cheap replacement from another vendor and the quality, the battery and the reliability of the product were nowhere near that of the Apple Pencil. I’ve purchased an Apple Pencil again and although expensive, it’s worth it for the years of function it provides

Hello, from the information we have available, the differences between this 1st generation Apple Pencil (2022) differs from the USB-C version in that: The 1st gen is longer, heavier, and has a wider diameter. The 1st gen charges via a Lightning port, whereas the USB-C version charges via a USB-C port. The USB-C version magnetically attaches, so it doesn’t accidentally pull out as easily. The USB-C version doesn’t have pressure sensitivity. The USB-C version supports Apple Pencil hover (allowing you to quickly preview and switch between different tools and controls in supported Apps). This allows you to preview a drawing tool before it makes a mark on the canvas. You can also sketch, write, and make adjustments with greater precision.
