About this product
The Habitat Stevie TV Unit gives you that industrial locker look with practical media storage built right in. It's steel and wood effect design that brings a bit of urban edge to your living room, while the two media storage sections keep your consoles, boxes and streaming devices organised. The wood effect top shelf supports TVs up to 65 inches, so there's room for family film nights and weekend box sets. Two hideaway doors keep cables and clutter out of sight when you want a cleaner look.
Cable access is sorted with dedicated openings, so you can connect everything without trailing wires on show. Three shelves inside give you space for remotes, games and other bits you need close to hand. The black steel finish with black handles keeps the locker style authentic and works well in modern or industrial-themed spaces. Self-assembly is needed and two people are recommended for putting it together. Covered by a one-year manufacturer's guarantee.

Absolutely lovely. Easy to build, took me about 2 hours on my own and I am far from experience in flat pack furniture!

Awful, difficult to build and faulty
I bought this a few weeks ago was going ok when I got the top on then things weren’t lining up easily.? The most disturbing thing was when I was near the end came to putting the steel legs on screws , mine must have been too long as to get them tight with the Alan key made then burst through the cabinet now making it impossible for the doors to stay on . I’m very disappointed as I have most habitat Stevie products and expected more steel but it’s only the doors that are steel , the mdf just cracked easily and one shelf didn’t have any black coating on the edge and I definitely put it in right . I’m just using it without the doors in a small room so it’s spacious and useful, I’ve had to buy laminate tape to cover the bare edge so I guess if you don’t get a faulty ione I’d recommend I just was unlucky and not sending it back after taking hours to figure out a fix … however I don’t think it will last long as the boards are bad quality and chip easily

Badly designed for building
There are two of the same sets of screws and one is longer than the other. I accidentally used the longer one and pierced through the wooden veneer top. The product should be designed to not allow this to happen.

Bought this for new tv. I was a bit apprehensive when I seen all the parts. My grandson assembled it and said it easy enough, he commented on the quality and said it went together easily. A beautiful piece of furniture

Easy to assemble & nice design
The perfect tv bench for us. Found all the details we needee on the Argos site. Glad I read the reviews: the magnets were the only challenge to install as the screw split thecmagnet housing. Otherwise it was super easy to assemble. Really like it and pleased we bought this one. Well done Argos.

Look stylish and good value on sale.
Bought two of these units as they were on sale and I wanted one for my tv and the other to use as a console table, but low, due to having a very small living room. Instructions are illustrations and are easy to follow, but we did have issues with the doors, when trying to install and the magnet catch on both units, had the holes drilled in the wrong places, but we got there with them and the result is a nice clean, industrial look and as the units are not too high, doesn't make the room look smaller and they hold quite a bit. One thing I will point out, is the units won't easily fit very Deep items, such as PS4, as I found out with my PS4 as it does stick out a little, which isn't ideal, but we are working with it as overall they look quite stylish we believe and at the price we paid, worth every penny,

Stunning
Absolutely beautiful piece and instantly upgraded my living room but an absolute beach to assemble. I’d suggest that when putting the door "hinges" in, superglue them into their holes before even attempting to put the doors on them or you’ll be tearing your hair out, saying bad words and nursing a bruised and dented thumb! Worth it though.

We would not recommend removing the middle shelf or assembling in any other way than shown on the assembly instructions.
