Bought this for the Webber bbq which we won as a prize, the chimney is a must for this type of bbq and heats the coals in no time very clean and no fuss. Only negative the cylinder had sharp edges which we filed to make safe.

Did what it was supposed to although Asda sells a similar item without the charcoal for £10. The charcoal itself only just burns hot enough for my smoker and dosnt last as long as lump wood

The cone shaped grid in the base provides a larger surface area for contact between the coals and the lighter cubes . Heavier gauge steel than most starter chimneys and well worth the £25

Yes, always wear heat-resistant gloves when handling Weber Chimney Charcoal 2kg. Remember that a chimney will remain hot for a while even after the charcoal has been poured out.
Never place a chimney starter on or near flammable materials like a wooden deck or dry grass.
