Bought it for when I look after my granddaughter. I’ve had to purchase an additional mattress as the so called “ mattress” that comes with the travel cot is way too hard to be comfortable.

It is hard board covered in fabric. It is NOT a mattress It wraps around the cot when cot is folded up.
This mattress is a few planks of wood in a light material

How is the mattress supplied even called that?! You cannot expect a child to sleep on that!
Whilst they keep saying they do not recommend using a different mattress the one it comes with is horrendous my daughter could not get to sleep on it. It is so hard beyond ridiculously hard.
