Fitted during a rewire, if you hear clicking the wires just need tightening up and out the way. Really useful with the remote and kept the room ambient. Looking forward to trying it in reverse during winter to see if it keeps the room warm - not just chilled in summer.

I bought this ceiling fan a few weeks ago I found it reasonably easy to put together and fit to the ceiling It works really well and the remote control with timer is great. I would recommend this Fan

Argos Home Manhattan Ceiling Fan - Satin Nickel can be wired to the wall switch but that only has the function to turn on/off the power and the fan still need to be operated by the remote control even if wired to a wall switch.

Argos Home Manhattan Ceiling Fan - Satin Nickel:
Having looked into this. The light requires a 2 x golfball E27 edison screw filament LED. Recommended maximum wattage: 10 watts. However, with LED bulbs, you do need to look at the lumens instead of the wattage on the bulbs, for how bright they are. There are also different colours that can be bought in the E27, Warm White, White and Daylight. This can also affect how bright the bulbs appear to light up a room.
