Does what it says but the "saw" gets in the way
I bought this around a month ago. Having spent around 8 hours cutting various bushes and hedges I'm happy with it. The cable length is good but I'd expect you'll likely need to connect it to an extension lead. I have one hedge close against a wall, for that hedge then "saw" on the end of one blade, which extends around 5cm, means it's more difficult to get a clean finish without resorting to hand trimming. When used on a thicker branch the saw doesn't really work. It's more of a gimmick. Over all it's a decent trimmer but don't buy it for the saw.

Great bit of kit
Nice well balanced machine with good length of cutting blade and cable length I would rather the cable hard wired instead of a plugin but that's me not tried the saw bit on the end so cant comment on its worth . I have had a lot of Black & Decker kit over the years and find it lasts well and spare parts are easy to come by so I am looking forward to a long relationship with this machine BUT with all kit like this with moving parts do not forget to oil it regularly before during and after

Great for medium sized hedges.
I bought this 2-3 weeks ago and have used it twice. It cuts really well through smaller and medium sized 2-3 cm branches. It has a saw section on the end that you can use to chip at any tougher branches. The cord is long. But you will likely still need an extension cable.

There is a retainer on the trimmer, please see below, but it is quite fiddly to put the cable through. It is mentioned in the manual but it is listed as an ”extension cord”.

“ As per the manual,
Attaching extension cord to trimmer (fig. C) A cord retainer (7) is incorporated into the rear of the switch handle (6). u Near the end of the extension cord, fold the extension cord to create a loop.
You Feed the loop into the cord retainer housing 11 as shown in Fig. C. Hook the loop onto the cord retainer 7 so it rests in the cord retainer. Plug the extension cord into the unit. ”

The standard full length blade cuts up to 25mm but at the tip is a small saw type blade that cuts up to 35mm. The previous answer of 16mm is incorrect and is for a smaller model.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Black + Decker 60cm Corded Hedge Trimmer - 600W: Th manual states not to use the strimmer on any stems greater than 16mm.
