Hello,
Yes, that is correct. The filtered capacity of the Aqua Optima Oria Water Filter Jug with 3 Filter Cartridges is 1.4 litres, total capacity is 2.8 litres.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Loving my aqua optima iris; the water tastes so nice and light and it made a great effect on my health now that I can drink up to 3 ltr/day👌👌
Hi Uthpa
The main difference I can find between Aqua optima Liscia and Oria is the capacity - 1.2L vs 1.4L respectively.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hello Shaz,
I can confirm that the lid is automatically pushed down by the weight of the water when filling and then it closes again when the water stops.
I hope this helps
Thanks for using Q&A
ALL manufacturers RECOMMEND CHANGING WATER FILTER CARTRIDGES approx. EVERY 4 WEEKS - ie MONTHLY. You are NOT missing out by not having an indicator on the top as they are NOT accurate, do NOT measure how many times the filter is used and they are ONLY TO REMIND YOU when the 4 weeks is up! This is explained in manufacturers website descriptions. Those with indicators require you to remember to reset them each time a new cartridge is inserted and eventually they fail as the tiny batteries die.
Hello Mike,
The supplier has advised the following for the Aqua Optima Oria Water Filter Jug with 3 Filter Cartridges:
“ Aqua Optima no longer incorporate a filter change indicator into our products – we advise our consumers to download our APP – there is a QR code on the packaging – which then allows you to set a 30 day reminder. Alternatively, the consumer could set their own smartphone reminder for every 30 days.
Other brands use an LCD display, which is powered by a button battery – Aqua Optima have decided offering this type of device is not the best use of the earth’s resources – especially when more convenient alternatives – like our APP – exist already. ”

Hello there,
The supplier has advised the following for the Aqua Optima Oria Water Filter Jug with 3 Filter Cartridges:
BRITA filters do not work in Aqua Optima jugs (Aqua Optima filters DO work in Brita jugs though). This means that your filters wouldn't fit this specific jug. The supplier adds this further detail which may be of assistance:
"The key difference is the method by which the filters fit into the jug – Brita filters simply drop into the jug, while Aqua Optima use a patented “click fit / bayonet” system which ensures a leak free operation."
I hope this helps.
Thank you for using Q&A.
