About this product
The Lancaster Lift Up Coffee Table keeps your living space organised, whether you're settling in for a film night or working through paperwork at the weekend. The top lifts up on an extending frame, so you get a higher surface when you need it, and a shallow storage compartment underneath for remotes, magazines and bits you want close but out of sight. There's an undershelf for extra storage, keeping books or spare cushions within reach. The grey painted base pairs with an oak-effect top, a combination that works with traditional and modern lounges alike.
The lift mechanism raises smoothly without needing to clear the surface first, so your tea stays put while you adjust the height. A wood-effect finish over a sturdy engineered structure keeps the weight manageable at around twenty-two kilogrammes, while the table supports up to fifteen kilogrammes when loaded. The undershelf spreads items out instead of piling them up on the top. Self-assembly required with two people recommended for easier handling. Bad experience
Difficult to build, support struts under baseboard didn’t fit under, had to install over top and were exposed. Worst fault was air support hinges to lift top of table were faulty so the top dropped hard like a brick, very dangerous around children. Had it uplifted and returned for a refund.
