May need some practise?
Ive only had a couple of weeks & still getting used to them. I’ve got shoulder length, fine poker straight hair but a lot of it. My hair doesn’t hold styles very well. Blow dry or curls drop very quickly. I have been using with OGX hair heat protector & any hair spray. PROS: the curls hold well into 2nd day & I only use on lowest setting. CONS: 1. cool tip but I feel a heat protector glove would be useful. Already slightly singed my fingers. 2. I find it hard to do the back of my hair. 3. I thought the tongs would slide along my hair easily to the ends & then I’d roll the curler up towards my scalp. Then release after few seconds. I find I have to trap the ends of my hair in the tong then roll up. Problem is the tongs don’t grip the ends evenly, hair falls out from between the grippers. Maybe I need something to help my hair glide? In conclusion I’m new to this so I could be doing it wrong. Hopefully get better technique soon.

Great curling wand. I have fine hair and it gives it after shine and curl. Still need to work out how to make curls last all day but that might be due to my hair type not the wand.
