About this product
Tackle your ironing pile quickly with the Tefal Puregliss Electric Steam Iron. Ready in 2 minutes, this 3000W iron delivers 50g per minute continuous steam and a 280g per minute boost that smooths stubborn creases. The Durilium soleplate glides across delicate silks to heavy cottons, while the Micro Scale Filter prevents limescale build-up. Its 270ml water tank handles larger loads without frequent refills, and the vertical steam function freshens hanging clothes and curtains without the ironing board.
What makes this iron clever is how it looks after itself and your garments. The anti-drip system keeps fabrics spotless without water marks, while variable steam settings adjust output for different materials. The precision steam tip reaches tricky areas like collars and cuffs, and the auto shut-off feature gives peace of mind if you get distracted. At 1.29kg with a 2m power cord, it's comfortable to handle and offers decent reach across your ironing board. With a 2-year manufacturer's guarantee, this iron is built to handle your laundry needs for the long haul.

Lightweight, powerful steam iron with quick heat-up, smooth glide, and effective crease removal. Cord length and water tank visibility are common concerns.

Ok
Cable length is quite short not the heaviest of irons but it seems to do the job , it heats up quickly enough , nice size water tank, I pleased with the iron so far

Tefal iron
Bpught this last week and happy with the hear, the weight. It stands well on the ironing board. The water tank is not huge but not a problem vs the performance/ price

Great Iron, but not a good present for my wife.
I bought the iron as a gift for my wife. She loves it that much she insists I iron all my own shirts now, so we get to share the experience. I must admit, it’s the best iron I’ve ever used. Glides effortlessly over my shirts and leaves only the one sharp crease in my sleeve. The last iron left a few creases which resembled the train tracks at Clapham Junction.

A lovely iron.
I bought this iron on the quick as my other iron died. What a great buy it was. Light as a feather and irons beautifully. Don't hesitate to buy one.

Needs a longer cable
This is a smart looking iron with very easy to use functionality. Turn it on at the plug and there is a twist dial with three heat settings (with symbols that helpfully match clothes ironing label instructions), a top button to spray water, a bottom button to spray steam and a toggle that switches between constants steam, steam off and extra stream. There also a front loading section for pouring water in and a removable water filter at the back. Or note you do not get a jug for pouring the water in to this iron. The iron works well, does glide easily and is relatively light to pick up and manoeuvre. The constant steam functionality means you can in theory use the iron to steam clothes whilst hanging on the hanger as well. I have had mixed results with this as obvious it won’t iron out deep creases but it will help with some materials. However the Ito does have some downsides. The built in base on the end is not the sturdiest. When in constant steam mode it drips water across the clothes. Water also gathers on the end of the spray nozzle point and drips from there too. For me the most annoying part is the short cord length. Unless you’re using a waist high plus, you’ll have to have your ironing board right next to your plug socket if it’s at skirting board level. It needs at least an extra two feet of cord really to allow easy reach across a large ironing board and some manoeuvrability away from the plug socket. Overall whilst it’s a nice looking iron and it works well it does need a longer cord and the water dripping needs to be looked at as it could leave water marks on some materials.

I will finally start ironing!
I’ve never been the person that likes ironing, even to the point I just avoid it completely. But when u recently got a few pairs of trousers that needed to be ironed every time I washed them I got this iron as I had heard about it from a friend and WOW, not only is it super simple to use, all the issues I previously had with ironing such as, steam stains, creases, iron lines or just endless going over the same item again and again. This iron does none of that, takes two minutes to go over the trousers once and they are perfect! Can’t recommend it enough
