Binned my old razor, no longer need to wet shave. My 5000 series gives me a smooth shave every time. Plus because I have a beard I'm able to cut the edges neatly, even without the attachment. Also works well for trimming my upper lip.

I brought this a few months ago and this is the best shaver I've had it give such a smooth shave and no need to worry about charging all the time easly last 2 to 3 weeks of one full charge.plus you can wash the razor to so no worries about keeping it clean.

The trimmer on the shaver is not as good as I was hoping for it struggles to cut my beard also it struggles to shave all the hair off and around my face

New razor
I bought this a couple of weeks ago to replace an old razor. It performs as you would expect for a Philips mid range razor. The only drawback is the fact that the trimmer is separate and one has to remove the cutter head and replace it with the trimmer. My previous razor had a pop out trimmer which was much easier and quicker to use. Other than that minor gripe I am happy with my purchase

the on/off button is in the wrong place and it is so easy to switch off during shaving ! That is the only negative thing I can say !

It is advised to do so depending on the amount of cut hair as it will gather in the film cutting head.
